چکیده
Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is one of the most important cereal crops in Ethiopia, however yield crop low mainly due to soil fertility management, lack using balanced fertilizer and improved wheat varieties. The experiment was conducted determine effect varieties, rate their interaction on components economic feasibility application for optimum bread Jimma Arjo district with four levels NPSB rates (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg ha-1) 64/20 NP three varieties (Ogolcho, Huluka Hidase) combined factorially laid out a Randomized Complete Block Design replications. soils experimental area exhibited high sand (36%) but relatively clay fractions (30%). Before sowing, site showed mean pH (H2O) value 5.52, organic carbon content 2.21%, total N (0.19%) available P (10.02%), matter (3.80%), boron 0.99 ppm.. main were significant all parameters except harvest index only seed per spike thousand weight interaction. highest grain 5801 ha-1 obtained variety applications 150 urea fertilizers. lowest 1599 ha-1grain recorded from Hidase no fertilizer. net benefit ETB 154288 marginal return 3210% cost ratio 66.19 unit investment production Urea ha-1. In conclusion, enhanced and, therefore, recommended production.

Evaluation of Nitrogen Fertilizer on Yield and Yield Components of Bread and Durum Wheat Genotypes
The present study aimed at investigating the effect of different levels of nitrogen on yield and yield components of bread and durum wheat. To this end the experiment was conducted in 2010-2011 in south west of Iran as split plots based on randomized complete block design with three replications. Main plot included four levels of nitrogen 60, 120, 180, 240 kg.ha-1 and the sub plot included four...
متن کاملEffect of salinity on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grain yield, yield components and ion uptake
Crops growing in salt-affected soils may suffer from physiological drought stress, ion toxicity, and mineral deficiency. A pot study was conducted in 2004-2005 in the Aghala area (northern Iran) to study the effect of different salinity levels, i.e. ECe= 3 (control), 8, 12 and 16 dS m-1 on wheat grain, yield components and leaf ion uptake of four Iranian wheat genotypes, i.e. Kouhdasht, Atrak, ...
متن کاملEVALUATION OF YIELD AND SEED REQUIREMENTS STABILITY OF BREAD WHEAT(Triticum aestivum L.) VIA AMMI MODEL
High quality seed of wheat is the key to successful agriculture. Improvement and evaluation of agronomic traits have been the primary objective of breeders for many years under variable environments. The objective of the present research was to determine influence of genotype, environment and their interaction on yield and randman of seed as a seed quality represent and to evaluate stability th...
متن کاملEffects of Municipal Wastewater Irrigation on Yield and Fertilizer Requirement of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in Bangladesh
Due to increasing scarcity of fresh water, use of unconventional water source (e.g., wastewater) in irrigation has now become important. However, inclusive information on the effects of wastewater on crop production and soil health is necessary for such intervention. This study was designed to evaluate these effects by demonstrating the contribution of municipal wastewater (hereafter called was...
